Alaska has always struck me as a place of beauty and for years have always dreamed of spending a long time there. Since planning this adventure I just could not shake Alaska out of my head, I still can not. While plans for Alaska are still in development I do have ideas about possible expeditions but way ahead of the other ideas is Mount McKinley.
Mount McKinley also called “The Great One” stands at 20,320 feet (6,194 m) above sea level and is the highest mountain peak in North Amercia and is included in the Seven Summits list. The great one is famous for it’s cold temperatures which can reach as low as −60 °C! This expedition will depend on the number of things, mainly money. I will be looking for sponsorship from now until I arrive in Alaska and hopefully I will be able to find some in order to complete this challenge. To me this expedition will no doubt be the hardest and most dangerous. I will keep you updated with my progress with this and fingers crossed I can raise the money needed
