Walking New Zealand

New Zealand is a very special place and after watching Lord of the Rings something had to be done here in a special and patient way to enjoy the country and all its beauty. Although bike pace is an amazing way to experience the world, I felt that New Zealand would be best spent walking the entire length of the country. We will will use the Te Araroa Trial as our foundational route to go wondering into the wild. This route is a reported 3,000km starting from Cape Reinga and ending in Buff. Depending on how far off track we go we will most likely end up walking more than the stated 3,000km. It is stated that this trail will take about 4 months to complete.

Given the beauty of New Zealand and the pace we will be going this will be a great chance to get some good photos for my photography based project the ephemeral project
