The Mackenzie River is the largest river in Canada at 1,738 kilometres (1,080 mi) and flows into the Arctic Ocean from the Great Slave Lake. My plan is to paddle the 1,739 kilometres from source to sea. This will take an estimated 6-8 weeks depending on various circumstances. There are many communities along the way in which I will be stocking up on supplies
